Freedom of Information Request - Road Transport Inspection

1. General Part

Submissions of Freedom of Information (FOI) requests to the Road Transport Inspection (INSID) and their subsequent provision by INSID employees are governed by ., the Free Access to Information Act Act No. 106/1999 Sb. the Free Access to Information Act 173/2006 Sb. 173/2006, on the Principles Governing the Costs and License Fees for the Provision of Information Pursuant to the Free Access to Information Act.

2. Request Processing Procedure

The request must be processed in accordance with the Free Access to Information Act and the related government regulation. Information requested via telephone will be provided without delay by the addressed INSID organisational unit, if available. In the event that the organisational unit is unable to provide said information, it will ask the applicant to submit the request in writing.

The request may be submitted by post, via the INSID filing office (at the address above), or via the electronic filing office at podatelna@insid.gov.cz.

3. Schedule of Charges for the Provision of Information

Pursuant to Act No. 106/1999 Sb., the Free Access to Information Act, and Act No. 123/1998 Sb., the Free Access to Information on the Environment Act, the Road Transport Inspection sets the amount of charges for the provision of information:

4. Denial of the Request by INSID

An appeal against the INSID decision denying the FOI request may be lodged within the statutory period at the address below:

The appeal may be lodged only in writing. The appeal must include the appellant’s name and address, the alleged breach of statute, the remedy sought, and the appellant’s signature. Subsequently, the Road Transport Inspection refers the appeal, along with the case file, to its superior authority, the Ministry of Transport, within 15 days of receipt of the appeal.
