JUDr. Lenka Ptáčková Melicharová, MBA
Graduate of the Faculty of Law at Charles University with many years of experience in public administration and advocacy. She also has extensive experience in managing public institutions, having served as Director of the Road Transport Service Centre since April 2024. She was appointed to take the lead of the Road Transport Inspection as a result of a selection process on 13 May 2025, effective from 1 July 2025.

Director of the Economic and Personnel Department

Ing. Ladislav Vereš
Graduate of the Faculty of Special Engineering, specializing in crisis management, at the University of Žilina. After his studies, he completed a one-year language stay in the UK. From 2007-2019, he held various positions in the finance department of the Four Seasons Hotel Prague. Since March 2019, he has served as the Economic Deputy of the Road Transport Service Centre.

Director of the Inspection Section

Ing. Pavel Bergman
Graduated in economics from the Military College of Logistics and Technical Security in Žilina. From 1980 to 1999, he worked in the Czech Armed Forces in various staff positions focused on the issues of economic security and finance. He ended his service as Director of the Military Finance Office. Since 2004, he has worked at the Road Transport Service Centre, from 2004 to 2007 as Head of the Mobile Expert Unit and from 2007 to 2018 as Head of the Road Control Department. He has held the position of Deputy Head of the Control Activities Unit since 2018.

Head of the Human Resources Processes and Legal Support Division

Mgr. et Mgr. Veronika Zichová, MA
Graduate of the Faculty of Law of Palacký University in Olomouc in European Studies with a focus on European Law, and the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University in Brno in Public Administration. She has worked at the Road Transport Service Centre since September 2023, first as an expert advisor and then as Head of the Internal Services Division.
