Information on the scope and methods of processing personal data of employees and job applicants
What personal data does Inspection process about me?
Data provided as part of the selection process
- Identification data – name, surname, titles, date of birth, permanent address.
- Contact details – telephone number, e-mail address, correspondence address.
- CV and cover letter – details of your education, work experience, other skills and reasons for working for the Authority.
- Details of training received.
- Nationality.
- Work references – any evaluations or references from previous employers, including details of their verification.
- Other information obtained from personal or telephone interviews with you.
- Data obtained from any examinations or tests you have taken as part of the selection process.
- Information that you voluntarily choose to share with the Office as part of the selection process – for example, the Office does not require job applicants to send a photograph, but some applicants send a photograph as part of their CV.

In addition to the above information provided in the selection procedure, these include:
- Identifying information – surname at birth, previous surname, place of birth, marital status.
- Educational data – diplomas, language test certificates, etc.

Data required for the processing of payroll and compulsory deductions – birth number (health insurance ID for foreigners), bank account number, bank code and name of bank for sending salary; name, surname, title and permanent address of your spouse/registered partner; the names and surnames and dates of birth of your children; information on whether you claim the tax credit (including copies of your children’s birth certificates and a certificate from the other spouse stating that he/she does not claim the tax credit, or, in the case of adult children, a certificate of education); information on whether you are on a disability pension (if so, which level) or old-age pension or hold a disabled person’s card, including the date of claim; details of salaries; details of holidays and personal leave; details of travel/expenses; records of use of a company mobile phone, if one has been allocated to you; records of movement of a company vehicle, if one has been allocated to you. - Attendance data.

- Data collected by security systems – CCTV footage.

- Other data that you voluntarily choose to share – e.g. your comments on events posted on the Intranet environment.
- Photographs – if you give us your consent to take and process them for external use.
- The results of mandatory occupational medical examinations.
Which legal grounds does the Authority use for processing personal data?
Given Inspection’s status as an employer and the purposes for which it processes your personal data in this context, the legal grounds for processing personal data are primarily
- to perform a contract concluded by Inspection with you or to carry out pre-contractual measures at your request,
- to comply with a legal obligation of Inspection,
- the legitimate interest of Inspection,
- or your consent.
Your consent is only required for the processing of your personal data if INSID has no other legal basis for the processing.
