{"id":979,"date":"2025-02-19T12:59:48","date_gmt":"2025-02-19T11:59:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/insid.gov.cz\/cim-se-zabyvame\/"},"modified":"2025-06-09T10:13:51","modified_gmt":"2025-06-09T08:13:51","slug":"cim-se-zabyvame","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/insid.gov.cz\/en\/o-uradu\/cim-se-zabyvame\/","title":{"rendered":"What we do"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-content-justification-left is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-12dd3699 wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Road Transport Inspection in figures<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Road Transport Inspectorate has 80 employees, of which 58 are in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Road Transport Inspectorate has 22 mobile expert units. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Another 4 special units are dedicated to mobile emission measurement and technical road inspection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each mobile unit is able to inspect between 6 and 10 vehicles per day, depending on the complexity of the inspection and the difficulty of the inspection findings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-content-justification-left is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-12dd3699 wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Objectives of the Road Transport Inspection <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">One of the main objectives of the Road Transport Inspectorate is to make roads and motorways safer. In order to keep public roads in good condition for as long as possible and avoid congestion due to road repairs and waste of public money, an important objective of the Road Transport Inspection is to prevent overloaded trucks from damaging public roads. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A positive element of the transformation of the Road Transport Inspection is the streamlining of the control of drivers by allowing the police and customs to use their officers for other activities. The Road Transport Inspection also aims to prevent unfairness in the trucking business. The overall effect of the Road Transport Inspectorate should be to have a preventive effect on drivers and hauliers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-content-justification-left is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-12dd3699 wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Road Transport Service Centre in 2024 <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Road Transport Inspection has been transformed from the Road Transport Service Centre, which reported the following results for 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Road Transport Service Centre carried out 3 287 road inspections.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>17 530 vehicles were inspected as part of the roadside inspections.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Of the total number of vehicles inspected, a total of 2 286 vehicles were weighed. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Of the vehicles weighed, 77% were vehicles that did not comply with the limits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thanks to the action of the Service Centre, 4 272 deficiencies in social legislation were detected.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Road Transport Inspection in figures The Road Transport Inspectorate has 80 employees, of which 58 are in the field.
