General Part<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Submissions of Freedom of Information (FOI) requests to the Road Transport Inspection (INSID) and their subsequent provision by INSID employees are governed by <a href=\"https:\/\/vlada.gov.cz\/assets\/urad-vlady\/poskytovani-informaci\/nejdulezitejsi-predpisy\/zakon_106_1999.pdf\">Act No. 106\/1999 Sb.<\/a>, the Free Access to Information Act and by <a href=\"https:\/\/vlada.gov.cz\/assets\/urad-vlady\/poskytovani-informaci\/nejdulezitejsi-predpisy\/nv_173_2006.pdf\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/vlada.gov.cz\/assets\/urad-vlady\/poskytovani-informaci\/nejdulezitejsi-predpisy\/nv_173_2006.pdf\">Government Regulation No. 173\/2006 Sb<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/vlada.gov.cz\/assets\/urad-vlady\/poskytovani-informaci\/nejdulezitejsi-predpisy\/nv_173_2006.pdf\">.<\/a>, on the Principles Governing the Costs and License Fees for the Provision of Information Pursuant to the Free Access to Information Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"nadpis1\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Request Processing Procedure<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The request must be processed in accordance with the Free Access to Information Act and the related government regulation. Information requested via telephone will be provided without delay by the addressed INSID organisational unit, if available. In the event that the organisational unit is unable to provide said information, it will ask the applicant to submit the request in writing.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The written request must be submitted to the following address:<br><br>Inspekce silni\u010dn\u00ed dopravy<br>n\u00e1b\u0159e\u017e\u00ed Ludv\u00edka Svobody 1222\/12<br>Nov\u00e9 M\u011bsto<br>110 00 Praha 1<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The request may be submitted by post, via the INSID filing office (at the address above), or via the electronic filing office at <a href=\"https:\/\/mail.google.com\/mail\/?view=cm&amp;fs=1&amp;tf=1&amp;to=adresa@urad.cz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">podatelna@insid.gov.cz<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"nadpis1\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Schedule of Charges for the Provision of Information<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pursuant to Act No. 106\/1999 Sb., the Free Access to Information Act, and Act No. 123\/1998 Sb., the Free Access to Information on the Environment Act, the Road Transport Inspection sets the amount of charges for the provision of information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div data-wp-interactive=\"core\/file\" class=\"wp-block-file\"><object data-wp-bind--hidden=\"!state.hasPdfPreview\" hidden class=\"wp-block-file__embed\" data=\"https:\/\/insid.gov.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/INSID_Sazebnik-uhrad-za-poskytovani-informaci.pdf\" type=\"application\/pdf\" style=\"width:100%;height:760px\" aria-label=\"Embed of INSID_Sazebn\u00edk \u00fahrad za poskytov\u00e1n\u00ed informac\u00ed.\"><\/object><a id=\"wp-block-file--media-ef428f7f-7d38-4d3d-8c26-64e93f25f22a\" href=\"https:\/\/insid.gov.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/INSID_Sazebnik-uhrad-za-poskytovani-informaci.pdf\">INSID_Schedule of charges for the provision of Information<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/insid.gov.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/INSID_Sazebnik-uhrad-za-poskytovani-informaci.pdf\" class=\"wp-block-file__button wp-element-button\" download=\"\" aria-describedby=\"wp-block-file--media-ef428f7f-7d38-4d3d-8c26-64e93f25f22a\">Download<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"nadpis2\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Denial of the Request by INSID<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An appeal against the INSID decision denying the FOI request may be lodged within the statutory period at the address below:<br><br>Inspekce silni\u010dn\u00ed dopravy<br>n\u00e1b\u0159e\u017e\u00ed Ludv\u00edka Svobody 1222\/12<br>Nov\u00e9 M\u011bsto<br>110 00 Praha 1<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The appeal may be lodged only in writing. The appeal must include the appellant&#8217;s name and address, the alleged breach of statute, the remedy sought, and the appellant&#8217;s signature.
