In order to keep public roads in good condition for as long as possible and thus avoid traffic jams due to road repairs and waste of public funds, an important objective of the Road Transport Inspectorate is to prevent damage to public roads by overloaded trucks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A positive element of the transformation of the Road Transport Inspectorate is the streamlining of driver control by allowing the police and customs administration to use their officers for other activities. The work of the Road Transport Inspectorate also aims to prevent unfair business practices in truck transport.
